KYLIE MINOGUE has been spending January on the piste with her new toyboy lover.
The Aussie pop princess whisked Spanish model ANDRES VELENCOSO SEGURA off to the French Alps for a week of snowboarding and partying.

And locals say the 40-year-old star and her fella — who is ten years her junior — have been acting like loved-up teenagers on the romantic break in Chamonix.

An insider revealed: “Andres had never been snowboarding before but Kylie loves it.

“It shows how much he is into her that he was prepared to give it a go.

“She paid for an instructor for him and they had a great time. And they looked like a loved-up couple in the bars in the evening.

“Kylie loves winter sports. She likes the fact that people don’t really recognise her with all her gear and goggles on.

“But when the occasional person did notice her, she was lovely — polite and down to earth.

“They both looked so happy. It was great to see.”

I can’t think of a star more deserving of love and happiness in 2009 than Kylie.

She and Andres were pictured cosying up at a party in Paris in October but at the time refused to confirm they were an item. She later insisted she was still single.

But the couple’s stay in the £10,000-a-week boutique-style chalet proves love is in the air.

On New Year’s Eve the pair dined at a Chamonix restaurant before dancing and smooching in local bar No Escape.

An onlooker said: “They were happily celebrating with friends and locals but enjoyed a few tender private moments too.”

Former Neighbours star Kylie — who resumed her Showgirl tour in November 2006 after battling breast cancer — split with French actor OLIVIER MARTINEZ in February 2007 following a four-year relationship.

But I’m pleased to report the unlucky-in-love beauty’s romantic fortunes look to be on the up this year.

And after this mountain-top winter break, her latest relationship looks to be hitting new heights.
